August 2021 General Elections
On August 18, His Majesty the King ordered the dissolution of Parliament and called for the next General Elections to be held. As only five candidates registered, no poll was needed.
Writ of Summons
As the Liberal Democrats leader, the Rt Hon Sir James Jameson-Forsyte, secured a majority of seats in the House of Commons (4 on 5), on 24th August His Majesty the King invited him to form a new Government in his name. The Rt Hon Sir James Jameson-Forsyte accepted.
State Opening of Parliament
On 24th of August His Majesty the King travelled to the Palace of Westminster to open the 14th Session of Parliament. In the House of Lords, His Majesty red in front of the Lords and Members of the Parliament the following speech, outlining what are the plans of the His Majesty's Government for this term:
Speech from the Throne
My Lords, Members of the House of Commons and all presently assembled: I bid you good tidings. Our government hereby is assembled and will enact my rule as Sovereign in the name of the Empire.
My government will improve recruitment efforts in order to increase the number of nations in our region through API and various telegram recruiting methods.
My government will further integrate the Buddy and Welcome Program in its overall mission.
My government will hold monthly cultural events to strengthen our cultural identity and drive participation within the community.
My government will expand our foreign relations to increase our prestige in the international community.
My government will ensure that our Foreign Affairs are conducted with professional standards and in a manner that will enhance our international reputation.
My government will continue RMB outreach via Executive Order 011.
My government will support the Freedom Assembly to the best of its ability.
My government will pursue bipartisanship as its first approach to any legislative priorities.
My government will be open, and transparent with the Citizens of the Empire.

I pray that the blessing of Almighty God may rest upon your counsels.

Address in Reply
After the State Opening of Parliament, debate started on the Address in Reply and the Prime Minister-Designate won the confidence of both Houses of Parliament with 7 votes in favour, 0 votes contrary and 1 abstention.
Inaugural Address of the Prime Minister and first Weekly Government Update
The Rt Hon Sir James Jameson-Forsyte posted his second Inaugural Address as Prime Minster. In the address, he stated his pleasure to be elected his second term as Prime Minister, and thanked everyone that voted him. He announced that the Government will do everything that is in its power to increase activity in the Region.
In the first Weekly Government Update, the Prime Minister stated that the Government is working very hard to increase activity. The Home Office started the API recruitment campaign to recruit more nations and the Cabinet Secretaries signed a pledge of activity.
